Today I saw an impressive storm cloud roll over Twin Falls just before noon.
This image doesn’t capture the half of it. It was immense and menacing. It brought with it a sudden and remarkable drop in temperature along with snow flurries.

Snake River. Burley Idaho
Yesterday I parked myself once again where pavement ends. It was appropriately cloudy, cold and windy. (like my emotions)
A snow storm blew through yesterday and dumped some snow at elevation. I decided to run to the hills after work to see if there was anything interesting to photograph. This is at one of the trailheads that I mountain bike. It looks like I need to dig out my snowshoes!
The roads were VERY slick.
I also happened to read this morning, sadly, that a young high school student in the small town of Carey Idaho, lost his life on roads that were apparently just as slick. The story just breaks my heart.
